Kulka tops AF1 passing charts; Townsend, Singleton lead other major categories

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tyler Kulka has established himself as Arena Football One’s most productive passer, while Albany receiver Darien Townsend and linebacker Drew Singleton lead several of the league’s other major statistical categories as the 2026 regular season nears its conclusion.

Kulka, the Nashville Kats quarterback, leads AF1 with 2,835 passing yards and 56 touchdown passes. Michigan Arsenal quarterback Malik Henry, who has thrown for 2,498 yards, ranks second. Henry is only one touchdown behind Kulka with 55 scoring passes.

Rudy Johnson ranks third with 1,990 passing yards, followed by Albany’s Sam Castronova with 1,698 and Minnesota’s Ja’Vonte Johnson with 1,594. Ja’Vonte Johnson, Joshua Kulka and Castronova are tied for third with 38 touchdown passes apiece.

Castronova leads the league with 283 passing yards per game, a figure that reflects his production since returning to Albany’s lineup. Tyler Kulka ranks second at 236.3 yards per game, followed by Henry at 227.1, Darryl Overstreet Jr. at 204.2 and Rudy Johnson at 199.

Tyler Kulka also leads AF1 with 2,817 total offensive yards. Henry is second with 2,519, followed by Rudy Johnson with 2,127, Castronova with 1,726 and Ja’Vonte Johnson with 1,672. Castronova leads the league with 287.7 offensive yards per game.

Nashville receiver Malik Honeycutt leads the receiving race with 1,047 yards, but Townsend has been the league’s most prolific scorer. Townsend ranks second with 988 receiving yards and leads AF1 with 24 touchdown receptions, 144 points and 24 total touchdowns.

Daniel Williams III is second with 20 touchdown catches and 120 points. Jairus Grissom has 18 touchdown receptions and 108 points, Tyrese Chambers has 16 touchdown catches and Darius Prince has 15.

Oceanside Stealth receiver Jovohn Tucker leads the league with 96.1 receiving yards per game. Tucker has 865 yards overall, ranking third behind Honeycutt and Townsend. Honeycutt averages 87.3 yards, Townsend 82.3, Kendyl Williams 76.1 and Agiye Hall 72.2.

Minnesota fullback Shannon Brooks leads an otherwise limited AF1 rushing attack with 237 yards. Brooks is averaging a league-best 33.9 rushing yards per game and has a 100-yard advantage over second-place Rudy Johnson, who has 137.

Minnesota also has another player among the top three rushers. Claude Davis ranks third with 131 yards and is tied for fourth with six rushing touchdowns. Desmond Maxwell of Nashville has 121 yards, and Ricky Weaver has 101.

Maxwell leads AF1 with 12 rushing touchdowns. Overstreet is second with 10, followed by Rudy Johnson with nine. Austin Collier and Davis have six apiece.

Townsend’s 24 touchdowns and 144 points make him the league’s overall scoring leader. Kyle Kaplan ranks second with 131 points, followed by Williams with 120, Honeycutt with 114 and Grissom with 108. Townsend and Kendyl Williams share the lead with 12 points and two touchdowns per game.

Singleton has been the league’s most active defensive player, recording 89 solo tackles for Albany. He holds a 24-tackle lead over Derrick Jones, who ranks second with 65. Delvon Randall has 53, Tywon Buckley 49 and Joe Powell 48.

Kentucky defensive lineman Ezekiel Rose leads AF1 with 11½ sacks. Jaquan Artis is second with 10, while Chei Hill, Michael White and Morris Joseph Jr. are tied for third with eight apiece.

Washington defensive back Byron Edwards has set the pace in the secondary with nine interceptions. Randall and Omari Alexander are tied for second with seven, while Berdale Robins and Isaiah McFarland have five each.

The Minnesota Monsters have two league leaders in Brooks and Ja’Vonte Johnson. Brooks leads both major rushing categories, while Johnson ranks fifth in passing yards, tied for third in touchdown passes and fifth in total offensive yards.
